ZWO EFW 8×1.25 Inch Filter Wheel - Designed to integrate tightly with their growing range of CMOS cameras it allows the use of 8 x1.25″ mounted or 31mm unmounted filters.
Plenty of room for L-RGB and Narrowband OIII, H-alpha, SII filters, and don’t forget a dark filter for taking darks.
The newest addition to ZWO’s filter wheels for imaging is the ZWO EFW 8×1.25 inch motorized model.
The body is CNC machined from a full block of aircraft-grade aluminium. The profile is very thin, only 20mm deep. It accepts 8 standard 1.25″ mounted filters or 31mm unmounted filters.
Japanese NPM stepper motors are at the heart of the EFW filter wheels so you can trust the the quality and reliability!
Smart electronics allow the filter wheel to rotate in both directions making filter change fast and precise. Only one USB cable is enough to power up the EFW with a maximum power consumption of only around 150ma@5V
Even better you can power it from the USB2.0 hub of ZWO’s latest cooled cameras.
ZWO 7nm Narrowband Filter Set 1.25inch. Narrowband filter sets are used to create high contrast deep sky images of certain objects, mainly emission and diffuse nebulae.
ZWO LRGB Filters are designed to approximately equalize the flux of ASI1600 mono sensor. Better transmission, Better coating, Better colour separation.
