Very enjoyable set of images David, really like the resolution from the 14" on Deslandres, so much detail on the crater floor and also with Archimedes and the number of craterlets visible.
Thanks guys appreciate the comments! I think Deslandres probably benefited from the best of the nights conditions but reckon my favourite is Posidionus- I just really liked how the sinuous rilles were illuminated to give a 3d appearance
Dave,
Some really nice lunar vistas considering the moon was quite low during its traverse across the northern sky last week
Well done !
Might capture some lunar images later in the year with my 8” CF in Sydney as last year was a lot of fun with the old 6” newt
Thanks Martin- I look forward to some more of your lunar pics! Good fun to mix things up or for a night when there’s a few clouds around - there’s always something wonderful to explore!
Stunning shots Dave!
My little 8 inch scope just can't compare. I've been told before a few extra inches would help, maybe not in the same reference. LOL
What a great lot of images Dave. I really enjoyed pouring through them and particularly liked the Apeninnes Range. Now I'm in the mood to bring out the C9.25 and give it a go myself!
Thanks Pete & Dean- appreciate the comments!
Dean I definitely recommend giving some lunar observing/imaging a go. A 9.25" sct is perfect and you can even use a mono guide camera and a very simple image train to get going. Lots of fun indeed!

Yep! C9.25 is portable while providing great resolution for moon shots.
