Make your own web page....SIMPLE

HI Guys,

Fred from the Meade yahoo group has posted a way to make your own web page...I have given it a go and basicaly takes minutes or hours if you want to get right into it.

Just google "google pages" and sign up up for Gmail...its free then use the page creator to build your page...it is very simple and after playing for half an hour you will be stoked with the results.

It has a 100mb limit so no excuses why anyone doesn't have ther own page to display images.

I have been playing for 10 minutes so far and here is the start...still have lots more to add.

And Freds who just made his today.
http://fredsastro.googlepages.com/

It is really simple and well worth doing to post your images..you wont have to worry about any 150K limit and its all free....so do it.

Yep FREE FREE FREE

Thanks Fred for the link.

Good stuff Tony, google also have Web Album space for images (250mb) for free, all you need is a gmail (googlemail) email account. It interfaces with Picasa, a popular freeware image browser/organiser, for simple uploading and sharing of images. You can choose to make your albums public or by invitation for viewing on an album by album basis.

Yep saw that Phil.

Looks like a great package.

I am surprised they do this for free.
I was going to pay to have my own domain with 200mb of webspace it was going to cost me some serious dollars for the year.

This is all free and a lot of fun.

Come on guys start building your web site....a basic one will only take you 15minutes.

Asimov,

Put a friends mobile number down...you only need the mobile for them to send you a 1 off number to enter on application.

Phil....do I have to show you all my secrets...lol

Go to here and select a free counter.
http://www.counterdata.com/

Then copy the full and very long code over to your page where it says edit HTML bottom right hand corner...then just position it as you would a image and your done.

Just remember to select the way you want the numbers to be accumilated before the code is given.

Asimov dont let the mobile issue stop you.

Stuart,

You have to make those headings as links as a page for each.
Select the link tab then where it says create new page type in eg..."Equipment" then push add page then ok...then position the link where you want it....you will probably have to delite the headings you have made because there not links.

Hope that helps.

Good work guys.

keep them coming.
