A very murky IC4628

I somehow managed to get something through the murk last night - almost embarrased to post it really? Shot through a heap of light pollution, the session was ended before the object really got past high enough to start to image. but i got desperate and stareted from 7pm knowing that cloud was due. It deserves to be redone i would say next month.

its 2h worth though you wouldnt think so ISO 800 ed127 Canon cooled 40D.

Beautiful shot. The neb is very well resolved and star colours look great.

David, nice smooth image and looks like your system was working well this night!
Stars look nicely saturated and pretty tight from what I can gather with this size image.
Lost the swamp monster, and really, crawled out of the 'murk' I'd say!

not quite, due to the amount of stuff in that shot i could post my normal size, but i still have an issue of drift now in the tracking. time to drift align again just to check, move chords and cables and move the gear about to free anything up. NO still a swamp monster

Nice one, the extra data really makes the difference in the 2nd image.

this is a rather pushed in pixinsight 3h39m combination of the previous shot plus 2 odd cloud unfested hours from last night

Nice image David. One of the not so easy nebulas to capture quite well done.

Repro #4

Ok i have now added another 4h 9min data taken last night with a 1/4 moon. total time now 7h 48min taken in not very ideal conditions - this prawn needs some fresh dark skies to flourish - this is as good as i will ever get from the burbs the extra data has helped to smooth it out a tad
