(SALE PENDING) 12" Meade LX200GPS with UHTC (Ultra-High Transmission Coating)

For sale is a 12" Meade LX200 GPS Telescope in excellent condition and a Starlight Express MX5-c CCD Camera. This telescope was serviced by Bintel in March 2009 receipts are available. At the time the Ra motor assembly was replaced and the Nylon Gear trains upgraded to Brass Gears. At the time of service pointing accuracy was inside 3 arc minutes. Extras include a custom made rear counter weight to counter balance the dew shield, Losmandy Dovetail for mounting a guide scope on top of the LX200, Meade balance weight set with extra weight to balance the scope when a camera is mounted, Dew Zapper 12volt heater, Peterson Engineering EZ Clutch Kit, Peterson Engineering EZ Focus Kit and a heavy duty scope trolley with pneumatic tires for easy maneuverability and leveling. I am using it in Alt Az mode at present but if you intend setting it up permanently the Meade 12" Super Wedge is included.
I still have the original Meade shipping Boxes for the telescope and the tripod.

A-D Converter: 12 bit, 10uS conversion time, serial output.
Computer interface: 8 bit unidirectional parallel port with bidirectional status lines (Standard
Centronics interface). 25 pin ADS style plug for LPT1, 2 or 3, via a 5 metre x 6mm diameter
cable.
Image download time Typically: 20 seconds with a 66MHz 486 PC, 8 seconds when using a
port accelerator module.
Power requirements: 115VAC / 240VAC @ 12VA, or 12VDC @ 700 milliamps max.
Cooling system: Regulated constant-current cooling supply built-in. Single-stage
thermoelectric cooler to give a CCD temperature of approximately -30C below ambient.
Size: 50 x 100mm black anodised aluminium barrel with M42 thread at CCD window end and
15 way 'D' style input plug at rear.
Weight: 200g.
