By chance, I decided to have a peek out the window last night to see what the weather was like and I happen to spot a
Halo around the Moon at around 10pm.
It was a lovely sight that I have never personally seen before. I quickly grabbed the camera and set it up on a tripod. I captured a couple of shots and headed back inside. I had another peak outside again about 15 minutes later and the
Halo had disappeared.
Jupiter was just on the outside of the
Halo at the bottom right of the image. I am also very happy that I was able to capture some background stars as well.
All taken with my Canon 450D a tripod, 20 second exposure at ISO200. Reduced to 1000px in PS.
