William I'm very sorry to see that you're planning to part company with that beautiful scope. I also more than sorry that I can't afford to buy it!

Folks I have looked through this scope on a number of occasions, as have many who attend the Cambroon nights and/or Qld Astrofest, and as one would expect from any SDM scope the views are sensational. This being a 25" makes it more than amazing!

Everyone should look through a 25" scope at least once in their lives, and I hope that someone reading this fulfills that goal by owning this scope.

William
I'm still new to astronomy, how high is it (vertical)? (Eyepiece height at zenith?)
Yes it's up the top of my lotto list as well?
All the best.
Joe.

The eyepiece height at zenith is about 3m (or 12 feet in the old imperial measure). This is not trivial.

The ladder is an essential part of the kit. It is lightweight alum and is easy to move around. It has the addition of twice the number of steps compared to a traditional ladder. This makes it really comfortable to use as you can find a step that does not invovle bending or stretching to the eyepiece.

The servocat motors drive the altitude and azimuth axis for full go-to functionality and tracking. This is essential for something of this size.

The trailer is fully enclosed with a ramp.
