Who to buy Samyang 14mm lenses from

Any suggestions for a reputable dealer.
Plenty of cheap new options on ebay such as $344 from DWI and $378 from onlinedigitalshop who claim to offer only genuine Oz warranty

Regards
Carl

Samyang lenses

Yeah but who is eglobal.
It's a tough one when there is no actual retailer in Australia

eglobal charge $55 shipping so keep that in mind.

If you are not using a full frame camera, the Samyang 16mm is a much better lens and only a few dollars more:

This review of the 16mm even has some night-sky shots at the end, which makes a nice change.

I had the 14mm but sold it and got the 16mm, the 14mm I had had pretty poor image quality in comparison, I'd never go back. The fisheye will probably be my next purchase.

I have bought cameras/lenses from both DWI and eGlobal in the past with no issues. Though I have heard horror stories from others.
Number one rule of buying on the internet: use PayPal.

I've bought plenty of gear from DWI and DDP (www.d-d-photographics.com.au) with no problems. DDP are Australian based grey-importers with great prices. They also have stock of a lot of gear on hand already so depending what you want you may be able to get it immediately (maybe even pick it up if you're near them).

I was a big fan of DDP for about 4 years.

DDP have gone downhill since they were taken over towards the end of last year. They don't keep inventory.

What used to take 3 days, can now take 5 weeks. Never again.
