Sorry about the clouds ...

Should be shortlived, it was only a little purchase. Got fed up with my old Zenith 12 x 50 binoculars. They were slightly misaligned, heavy and focussing was erratic.

So splashed out and bought some new Olympus 10 x 50 bins, $185.00 . Lightweight, clear and bright. Was nearly tempted to some 20 x 60 that were only about $40 more but they were too big for general use and I only need these for sweeping and locating. At least these will be useful at the racetrack for the fast cars.

And the clouds persist .... got up at 4am this morning for the usual reason, still solid clouds. Woke up at 6 am and the sky was clear as ... !!!! Just a few stars to be seen in the morning glow. It just ain't fair !!
