Even if you fly during the eclipse at night, the Moon will be more or less near the zenith during totality. You won't be able to see it. If considering viewing any eclipse, solar or lunar from a scheduled, regular flight, you have to consider the plane vector, whether the events altitude and azimuth are suitable. If the Sun or Moon are low in the sky but in front or behind the aircraft you can't see them. Anything above 30 degrees altitude starts getting difficult and at 45 degrees, you need to be kneeling on the floor.
