Tuesday night we actually saw the STARS in Brisbane briefly - faint flickering points of light in the night sky for those that have forgotten.
Now knowing enough about the QHY9 and filterwheel to be plain dangerous, I set out to capture some RGB frames on the Rosette and some more Eta C data. After a couple of hours of clear sky, I ducked inside momentarily for a drink, only to return to the usual orange grey overcast.
I've quickly learned there's more to HaRGB than meets the eye. Here's a hybrid of the 2 techniques outlined
here, along with original Ha shot. Bit of a gradient me thinks, but happy to have some colour before the Rosette disappears for the year.
