For sale, Vixen FL70S, Fluorite doublet, f = 56omms. these are no longer
manufactured as the Fluorite has a lead component now banned, hence
the ED Triplett assemblies of today. The Fluorite has but 4 interfaces
whereas the triplett has 6, reducing the contrast. This OTA has been
professionally shortened to facilitate the use of Canon EOS (etc) cameras
which require a long back focus. It is currently fitted with a robofocus motor
(which is not for sale) but the fittings and coupler are available. Focus
is by rack and pinion and is very smooth and precise. Optics are perfect,
tube has the odd scratch.
