I'm having a go at the moment with some of mine, but the timing of my shots is right out because of clouds etc.

Thanks for the idea jjj I'll try it when I get a free moment.

Cheers Phil.
I used the TOA 130 and 20Da for the closeup shots and the 20D + 300mm + 2x tele conv for the sequence shots.

I'm glad you got to see the show too Steve, what a wonderful opportunity, I bet you had some lovely views thru the scope, I didn't even get my eyepieces out (I missed just enjoying the visual side of it

).

I take my hat off to you Scott, I'm hopeless at drawing, my sketch of the moon would have looked like a stick figure

got to thank the media for this i guess

It truly was a great opportunity to share with others Narayan, and thank you.

I did !
It was wonderful, I packed the gear into the car and setup at the other end of the property to get a good easterly view, then the kids were sitting on the back and enjoying the spectacle while dad was running around taking photos and explaining what was happening, it was a great science lesson for all !
My youngest daughter (3 y.o) was heard to say - "I can see a red apple in the sky"
Hope you got to enjoy it Rod with your family.
