Matt, Liz, Rolf, many thanks, the funny thing now is that when i go out as i did last night and captured some nice strikes i tend to compare, and although the others are good captures they just done match up with the big one.

Fantastic Leon, check the tendrills on them CG's, wow !
I seen them storms on the Lightning tracker, very intence, no wonder you went for cover !
I was once ontop of Ridgeback hill, here a year ago capturing a storm about 3-4k away, then all of a sudden Ridgeback was bombarded with CG's about a half doz in as many mins, one buckled me at the knees as I was scrambling, yes, very exciting

Thanks Bob, yea they sure pack a punch when one is really to close, bur one never knows where it will hit.
I have been told CG's can land as far a 30 ks from the main storm, scary stuff but exciting indeed.
