Yes your right, posting 108 was a terrible performance but then again
why thrash a team and risk injury when there is a lot more play to go. Maybe
the coach told them to take it easy, it's not like it was an important game.
I also think Portugal played quite admirably. Good on them for posting 13
I hope they get a lot of inspiration from it. We'll take the five points

It was a good game between Ireland and France this morning, with the French
coming home strong, could be a turning point for them in this round. France 25
to Ireland 3.
looking forward to tonights rounds

A feast of rugby for me this weekend, Ireland v France, RSA v Tonga, England v Samoa and the Wobblies v Fiji all watched and even managed to squeeze in a trip to the SFS to watch Manly win over the Cowboys in that other version of rugby!
If there is a heaven, it's definitely rugby that's played there.
Now need to catch up on sleep!

...looking forward to the Ireland v Argentina match, the Irish have got everything to play for to rescue something, I think they need to get a bonus point and prevent the Pumas from getting one, in order to get through.
Never seen such a great side play so badly as the Irish have over the last couple of weeks

Wow, Tonga very impressive, England do not deserve to advance any further. If that is the best England can muster, well what a rag tag bunch. Going on that result if it wasn't for pretty boy Wilkinson and his kicking prowess they might have been booted out very early, RATS! Well all I can say is bring it on POMS Australia is going to do be all over you, in the forwards and the backs just watch them!

Great night of Rugby, pitty they didn't show the AB's against Romania. But
I guess it really wasn't one of the important games being played this
weekend. I'm also looking forward to the Ireland v Puma's match could be
the decider on who plays the AB's next weekend Ireland or France.
I thought Tonga were excellent, I was really thinking they were going to
cause the competition upset there for a while. But lil Johnny and his boot
well where would England be without him.
Nice fakey by the Welsh player still didnt keep Fiji who played surperbly
even with a man down for 10 from winning their match.
And Yup! the Canadians certainly gave the Wallabies a run, quite surprised
by their strength in the scrum too. They put on a good defensive
performance against the Wallabies. Wallabies have a few injury issues now.
Scotland managed to beat Italy, the Italian captain got a lil emotional in
the wrap up interview. I couldn't help not feel sorry for them, pay back
for the Soccer Roos lol

Well we're starting to move into the business end, Should be a great
weekend of Rugby!!! with the Wallabies making good on a defeat by
the boot!. And the French wanting to put down what is now a 7
game losing streak against the AB's. AB's No 8 Sione Lauaki has had
his suspension for an alleged dangerous tackle wiped in Paris today.
But the team has already been selected and been training this week.
Good luck to all the teams... hope to see the Wobblies in the semi's

Hi All,
On one side of the draw, see what a rails run the Boks have been given to the final. Their opponents in the QF is Fiji, and in the semi either Scotland or Argentina.
On our side of the draw, 4 out of the top 5 nations are there.
There is a distinct possibility (in fact I'd say probability) that _both_ world cup semis will be all southern hemisphere Walllabies -v- Blacks, Boks -v- Pumas.
Looking forward to tomorrow night in particular - sweet revenge on Wilkinson et al!
Best,
Les D

10 - 6 to the Wallabies at halftime... I hope the Wallabies come alive abit
more in the second half. They seemed to have picked up in the later stages
of the first.
