Can I request results yet to be played on free to air TV not be mentioned
until they have been broadcast. as we're only getting delayed broadcasts.
Although I dont think the US v England game is being played on free to air.
On the US, I suppose it wont be too long before the US are paying multi
million dollar contracts to attract a dream team.

I don't know how good the US is at Rugby Union, but Rugby League has really taken off in the US. They now have a National League just like our NRL. The whole comp was started by Aussies, and all the teams over there are sponsored by teams here. It's not hard to tell which team is sponsored by who. They have similiar names and logos
It was all started by David Niu from the St.George Dragons
See this page of the AMNRL to see what I mean http://www.amnrl.com/teams/index.html

I think the eventual winners will be NZ, South Africa or Australia. Can't see England winning it again, not on yesterday's abject showing. I watched the game and, although England won, it was embarrassingly laboured and we got shown up by the USA.

Hi All,
well the first time I have been able to check the forums, and on a PDA it will be infrequent believe me.
Nothing better than sitting in a Parisian café, drinking a beer, and watching the AB's play Italy. This the day after the French get rolled by the Pumas, yes there were some long faces.
Regards to all, see you mid October.
Gary.

renamed "Bondi II"

the AB's stats on Japan
Played one game back in 1995 AB's 145 to Japan 17. They managed 17 only
because they did have one outstanding player back then, forget his name.
probably long retired now. And I think the wallabies put 100 on them to back
then. so they have improved slightly lol

Japan's past star player was cloned...HA! Wallabies need to start to build to be a chance and with the game against Japan, that might be the spark they need. Eddie Jones merely ruined a good team and with some luck, that skill of his he will make good use of it for South Africa!

Hi All,
Judging by the story in the Sydney Morning Herald (Rugby Heaven) today, the Portuguese rate themselves pretty highly by saying they "won't be easy pickings" for the All Blacks --
http://www.rugbyheaven.com.au/news/news/minnows-threat-to-all-blacks-were-coming/2007/09/14/1189276954274.html
If they get within a hundred of the Blacks, I'll eat my telescope (well maybe just the small one!)
Ditto the comment by Rattler, Eddie might just turn out to be a good "export" to the Boks. Too much "structure", not enough flair. Knuckles has neither done a good or bad job so far and how far we go in this cup could decide his fate. How much would it cost to get Rod McQueen back as Wallaby coach? (Just hoping ...)
Go the gold!

Yup! should be a good weekend of rugby. Looking forward to seeing the
bok's game in the morning. I wonder if eddie will mouth off in south african lol
before the game, never did like that guy.
Good luck to the AB's and the Gold
maybe the AB's should lay down for the first half and play catch up in the
second. Should be interesting.

Well that was a bit of a whipping for England, SA 36 - Brits 0.
Pretty lackluster performance by England really. And when they
did try to apply pressure on the Boks they ended up turning the
ball over. The Boks on the other hand were certainly playing a
different kinda football than we're used to seeing, but match
fitness started to wan in the last 20 minute or perhaps the Brits
started to play intelligent football. Still i think the boks will have
trouble playing a full 80 minute against teams that can, even
the Wallabies are good for 80 minutes.

On'ya Wallabies with their 32-20 win over Wales!!!!!! it's good to see a bit
of form coming back into thw wallabies, although the Welsh kinda reminded
me of the Brit's against SA in the first half and started to come back a lil
in the second, but the Wallabies managed to hold them off, even with
two in the bin towards the end. Well Done!!!
Wow!!!! that's two in a row now for you guy's haven't done that in a while

LOL I thought the wallabies lacked cohesion and their defence was lackluster - the welsh ran the ball instead of kicking a lot and that upset the aussies game no end. I thought wales were in with a chance?
