Probably not, Mike. Tuesdays nights are a bit hard for people to travel far.
What I would like to do is set up in the middle of our small town and getting the locals to come have a look, but right in the centre of town doesn't have an Easterly view. I might have to have a talk to the school Principle and see if I can use their sportsground. It's in the centre of town but has a bit more Easterly view.
Just as well I cancelled tonight! We would have all been blown away!!!
The wind has not eased up, and I can hear the tin banging on the roof of mine and the neighbours house, the fences are banging, and the wind sounds like the roar of a jet engine!!!!!! And that is listening to it from inside the house.
I just went outside to check for any damage and it is DANGEROUS out there!!!!
Stay safe all, and as Rick says: "OK, now everyone let's have positive thoughts for the 17th..OOooohhmmmm..."
Of course, I look out my office window this morning - blue sky - a few wispy clouds!! Grrrrr! I did get about 50 mins viewing last night up the Dandenongs - the session included some rain to start and about 2 hours cloud cover!
(Edit - two hours later and I feel better - overcast and raining! )
I'm starting to get a sad feeling about Friday night's weather. Please keep us posted, Ken - I need to make a decision Thursday night since I have someone to bring along.
Ken, my apologies, I won't make it to SVAA tonight. Weather forecast too bleak - especially as I was going to bring someone - standing in the rain and wind looking for sucker holes with binoculars will not impress!

Yep, it's not looking good Eric. I was just in the weather site and it still says rain and cloud tonight
