I love a good conjunction in the dawn or dusk sky - and in March we're treated to a great conjunction featuring Venus and Jupiter for most of March, joined by the Crescent Moon in late March. They'll make a beautiful sight in the after-dusk Western sky, just after sunset. It'll present some great photographic opportunities so now's the time to get out there with your camera and practise. I've written an article which has the sky charts and all the information for the conjunction throughout the month of March, as well as some general information about what a conjunction is, and how to photograph it. Moon, Venus and Jupiter Conjunction - March 2012 I look forward to seeing your images and reading your reports on the IceInSpace Forum or on our Facebook page. |
