Welcome everyone to the new look IceInSpace site and forums. The site has had a complete overhaul, and we hope you'll like the changes.

The most important and major improvement is the seemless integration of the main site and the forums, making it look and feel like 1 site, not 2. The content is more easily accessible and I hope it will encourage everyone to read and contribute to the site content.

Other changes include:

• The left bar now has sections for the Latest and Most Read articles. The latest article is updated whenever a new article is posted, or an article is updated. The Most Read article is based on how many views a particular article or page has had. In the header bar of each article, you can see how many views it has had.
• The IceInSpace site is now accepting advertising, in the form of a banner/image in the left bar. Please contact me for costs and requirements.
• The site is now 100% variable width, to take advantage of the higher resolution that most people use. If you still run 800x600, you'll still get a pleasing experience.
• The site and forums have both had a colour scheme and style overhaul. The new style looks good and is easy to read, and most importantly is shared between the site and the forums for an integrated feel.
• The menu structure has had an overhaul, to make navigation simpler and content easier to find. Have a browse through the menus to find the content you like to read.

A huge thankyou to Terry (mojo) for his time and effort in helping me with this redesign. His technical and design skills were invaluable as we worked together, bouncing ideas and prototypes off each other until we finally reached consensus on what we feel is a huge improvement on the old site.

Thankyou to everyone in the IceInSpace community for their support and encouragement. The forums now have over 370 members and is growing rapidly. Please don't be shy, come and sign up to the forums and join in the great discussions and fun.
