Here is a couple of photos I snapped this afternoon after work of these lovely big white Pigeons that live up here in the NT , beautiful birds .
I was testing my new 9mm Nagler in my new Istar 127mm f/8 refractor when it perched just over the road , I snapped these in my HTC phone , sorry abiout the smallish field
, but the 9mm is 90x .
I ran inside and grabbed my 19mm Pan but when I got back out he had flow'n
.
So its one of his telons , one of his head and one lucky shot as he bent over to preen .
I am sure these guys are carnivors ?
