007 Skyfall

Saw Skyfall on Saturday at Doncaster Villiage cinemas. Fantastic film! I highly recommend to go and see it!

Would love to talk about it but I don't want to spoil anything for people who have not seen it yet!

Very, very entertaining.

It felt like it was going to go on all night.

It was an extremely fun film from start to finish!

I also really liked the opening credits, it was done in a much more creative way than is usually seen.

The only thing I don't like about the current James Bond series, is the time between episodes, 4 years is too long.

It might need to grow on me but I was not entirely enthrawled by it, just my lack of suspension of disbelief.

I was bored and found it predictable.

My wife on the other hand loved it, so i'm the odd one out.

One of the things that gets me really excited about a Bond film is the gun barrel sequence.

I hate it how it's at the end now.

I decided to watch it after the review I saw on At The Movies on the ABC and enjoyed it

Saw it last night and in terms of action was pretty good.
I agree Stefan, what I liked about the old Bond movies was the gun barrell start as well as the prelude to the main plot, but opening credits sequence on this one was excellent.

I enjoyed it - it beats many other films of recent release - but I wouldn't place it above Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace. It was more predictable than the other two and I thought a bit overdone in places (Edit: I was enjoying the slightly more realistic approach of CR and QoS). I can understand some of the compromises they made given the story arc (particularly the epilogue) but I still think it could have been better.

***1/2 from me.

Yes, my wife and I enjoyed a night out at the local multiplex to see this film. Money not wasted.
