Just thought I'd share some photos of the partial eclipse I took from here in Melbourne.
nothing special about taking them, just projected onto a piece of card, took a snap with the iphone and then cropped and saturated some colour into it.
Isn't technology great everyone in cairns had iphone snaps that looked great and yours are no exeption. The iphone seems to have better imaging quality than some top of the range compact digital cameras. Good stuff.
Yeah cheers mate, the iphone camera is pretty bloody good, considering all I did was project it onto some card they came out pretty good I was pretty happy.
I've also taken some snaps of the moon with the iphone just by hovering it as steadily as possible over the eyepiece ! They came out pretty good as well !
