Waratahs lost but we won!

Although the tahs lost tonight
we won

At each match during half time HSBC sponsors a "flash for cash" competition...nearly everyone is given a sign with a unique number on it...when it is time for the competition you "flash your sign for cash"...in this case $2,000...

Well, my son Campbell's sign was the winner tonight

After coming to grips with this windfall, we decided to call my wife and youngest son who missed the game tonight as they are home with the gastro bug going around...next thing I hear my son telling his younger brother over the phone is this..."since you could not be here to win yourself, I am going to give you 1/2" .... completely unprompted or suggested by me...the gesture made me feel all warm inside...

After he proudly finished telling his Mother about the cash and hanging up the phone, he asked me if I thought it would be okay if he bought some astronomy gear ... he is convinced that he needs a Nagler for his vingco/tasco wobbletronic refracter
