Vela SNR in 3nm NII and OIII

Last couple of nights were clear but a lot of thin cloud about that spoiled many frames.

Managed to collect both NII and OIII without a Moon. Only 5x16 minutes of each. NII to red channel. OIII to green and blue.

Large image here 7MB.

May get some colour data over next few nights.

The bi-colour works well and the palette is close to natural.

The star field and details are looking real good. Gotta be stoked with how the scope is performing. Just needs more data now.
