WARNING..WARNING to Palm Covers and other Beaches

I have just come back from Palm Cove and some other Beaches 10 min drive from me
please please just dont jump into the sea anywhere ......the STINGER NETS are out (Box Jellyfish ) so please swim within the right area ...also when walking on beach or viewing on the day be very careful just in case some are washed up......please value your life as you dont get very long with these bad boys, so no macho gun ho stuff
take care and stay safe and also we all hope great viewing

Hi Rob,

The salt water crocodiles have been known to swim inside the stinger nets at Ellis
Beach, so it would be advisable to apply both sun block and croc repellent before
venturing into the water.

I was talking to a group of Danish Eclipse Chasers last night at Sydney Obs. warning them of the same thing. Not to even go ankle deep in water because of the stingers.
