Latest Macro

Some of my latest macro shots. All taken with a Canon 600D, Sigma 150mm Macro lens and 580EXII flash. ISO 100, F11 1/200.

Not much around at the moment with the garbage weather, hope to get some good weather and cool bugs as the season heats up.

Just grabbed a nifty fifty that I'm keen to try out when the reverse ring arrives.

Thanks for looking.

They are all stunning especially the blue fly, also really like the shiny spot on the lady beetle. Great Shots.

Poor bee 6th image, it's wings are shreded.

Ta

Yeah I have noticed a lot of bees with the torn wings, I presume they are older bees that have done a lot of flying in and out of the foliage but it doesn't seem to impact upon they're flying ability at all.
