2012-10-20 Jupiter from Sydney Balcony

Meade LX90 ACF in alt/az
Cheapo Chinese Colour Webcam (Looks like an Orion StarShoot Solar System Color Imaging Camera IV) at wrong resolution due to using crappy software as supplied.
Stack of best 40% from 10 minutes using Castrator and Autostakkert
Taken at 4:30am from Balcony in Rhodes, Sydney after a disappointing look for the Orionids

Planning to use VLC in vidcap mode next time to get proper CCD resolution and lower frame rate

Good work.

Have always wondered what the seeing conditions are like from the heart of Sydney compared to Melbourne.

How is the seeing for planterary imaging from places near the water like Balmain or Bondi?
