A Bit of the Vela SNR in 3nm NII

Exposure 5X16 minutes 3nm NII.

Full res image 7MB. FoV is 3.5 X 3.5 degrees.

I hope to do a mosaic in colour and NB. The weather has to get better.

Wow, that's a lot of NII imagine a mozaic...

You should really move the Canberra area Bert, nice place really and the weather so far since moving back has provided rather health threatening amounts of clear weather

My daughter and grand daughter live in Canberra Mike so it is tempting. I am getting too set in my ways to change states.

That is extreme in the best possible way. You really have nailed your setup and it shows. What a great image and I can't wait to see the completed mosaic.
