Movie - The Time Machine

Ok which version do people prefer.

The 1960 Rod Taylor version or the 2002 remake with Guy Pearce. Personally I am a huge fan of the remake and I think it is very underrated...I like how Guy Pearce's character Alexander Hartdegen had a reason to go to the future....but I really love the actual Time Machine in the 2002 remake...brilliant special effects.

I like the original, but then I seldom like remakes of anything.

The remake was ok. I got a chuckle when it referenced the book in the future library scene.
