Night flight over Iraq

Continuing on from Tom's shots, I took this one on a flight from UK -> Dubai earlier in the year. Around full moon, with 5D2 @ f/1.8, iso 3200, 0.5 s.

Yes very cool and surprisingly good quality image considering the location!

What's all that light pollution? The Pakistan/Indian border?

Thanks guys. Most of the others were pretty shaky. Combination of turbulence and alcohol fueled lack of balance...

Mike, I think it's the mountains of northern Iraq, looking west over the desert. Moonlight is great for cutting through the haze. If I find myself on another night flight around full moon, I might get a window suction thingy and try some timelapse.
