Oct 6 Moon-Jupiter Occultation

Captured the Moon and Jupiter occultation from Geraldton WA which was the only place to see both immersion and emersion under predawn light. got some snaps and some vid of which couple the shots are from. The seeing was horrible and thus the pics are very murky.

550D, Hyperion MKIII zoom, 10" LX90.

Well done. Glad you got the opportunity to capture it. I was clouded out.

Thanks for posting some shots of this event Ken. We were clouded here in Adelaide, although I did get a few brief glimpses through gaps in the clouds.

Ken I was wishing I could have viewed this .Thank you very much for the pics. As for the seeing I feel that is secondary to actually being able to witness the event first hand.
Cheers Derek
