5D3dog

I took this photo of my dog with the Canon 5D mark 3. This was shot @ 25600 ISO in low light conditions where you would normally use a flash. There has been no adjustment to this photo, no cropping no levels etc only desaturation.

I am quite surprised at the result. The photo has quite a lot of noise but not as much as I would have expected at such a high ISO. This photo could still be printed to 8x10 and give a respectable result.

The way the new digital cameras are going flash units will not be needed.

Cheers

Phil

Fabulous shot. Great dog! I have 2 border collies. Great dogs. Your looks like he is about 7 months old?

Thanks Greg,

Yeah Border Collies are the best, I just love them.

Mine is actually just on two years old, He is just getting out of that puppy stage. He lives a pampered life, maybe this is why he looks so young.

Gee with two of these dogs I would be worried about who is in charge. I question this with one, they are so intelligent.

cheers

Yes they can be a handful. One is very obedient and is very easy to handle the other (wheaten coloured) is not so much and does his fair share of trouble.

You can see it in the eyes of your dog. Not many dogs look that aware in the eyes like that.

Greg.
