the guy quit his job and took 37440 exposures with 6 synced cameras (no telescope) in north america and africa. then stiched them together.
et voila: the most beautiful night sky navi app I've seen, so far.
I love it because I love the story behind it.

Yep, this one's done the rounds on here a few times!

The app is a new development, though. Must have been released recently.

I find his map great for creating a scaffold for potential mosaics, or finding interesting regions of the sky to image. My Rho Ophiuchus region was planned off his data.

Anyone know where to set the date and time on this one?
It's supposed to be in Settings/General but on my iPad it's just not there.

Not in iPhone App, either. I change the iPhone time, instead.
