Looks like Dave Tyler and Damian Peach are back from their imaging trip in Barbados. Here's a link to a preliminary image on Damian's site. Watch their sites over the next few days. Apparently they have over 600GB of files to process each!

Thanks for that link - Dave Tyler is an old astro buddy from back in the early 70s when I lived in UK. His web site has got contact details so I can get in touch - and tell him about IIS.

Ive still got an 8.5" mirror he made somewhere in my garage.

oh yes, who is going to pay for filter wheels, lumenera cameras, oh and yes, last but not least, a c14!!

cant get sunburnt at night, wife will kill me, divorced and burnt equipment not taken!!!!!!! this might just be my only opporunity, she always said she wanted to go to a tropical island, might work on that, next year might be cheaper than driving to queensland for Astrofest!!!

yes, there is another guy Maurice Valimberti in melbourne but he has a c14 and a toucam that is doing fantastic stuff with toucams.

do we have anyone imaging planets with a 12" scope? mike and i are at 10" with 1250, obviously c9.25 are around etc. Visually, i loved the extra scale and light thru kens 12", but have never seem much high res planetary???
