PMX and Hardware Setup at Last

Well, except the camera usb cables need to be lot shorter and there is a new focuser in transit for the APO. other than that, all good to go.

Nice side-by-side set up you have there.

Looks like you need a 12V power distribution panel on the mount. You might want to take a look into getting a Mount Hub Pro. Or maybe a West Mountain Radio RIGrunner.

Please tell us about your shed modifications. Looks like you have haven't made it into roll off roof?

Thanks for the questions guys.

The scopes are an RC8 and a William Optics 110mm FLT TMB.

The shed is a basic 2x2. It is marginally different from some designs in that the roof hangs from a frame and slides off as opposed to sitting on one and rolling off.

re pmx

i can't get my mount lights to come on with the whistle when i turn on the 48v power supply although my power supply light is on scope mount is dead/ any help please.?

Probably best to start a new thread....

I had that happen once on a pme.. Turned out it was a faulty auto guider cable, giving a constant signal. So unplug all unnecessary cables to start diagnosing.

Are you getting the alarm signal/beep?

i have unpluged everything including the guider however when i flick the switch to power up nothing happens no short whistle or power the tcs,ra dec don't light up either

Julian. Take a photo of how you connected power supply. Do you have a volt meter ? check the output and make sure you are getting 48v to the mount.
