Some Perseids, and more

Havent had internet connection in over 36hrs, so these pics are a bit late, as took them yday am. Bought myself a new D-Link Modem/Router, and now all set up and going.

Anyway, ventured out Sunday morning for only 30 minutes or so in 6 dg temps (), then was getting too light, but managed to see 3 bright and slow Perseids - beautiful!! Jupiter also looked amazing as right atop the Moon.

Took a few pics, and very happy with my Perseid pic as captured 3 meteors in it. Not great processing, but at least you can see them.

Moon pic isnt great as overexposed, but you can certainly appreciate the closeness off Jupiter to it.

Nice captures of the Perseids Liz, three in one frame is quite spectacular!

Cheers

Lucky to see some, even luckier to capture some. I missed Jupiter being really close to the moon so it's good to see a pic

Yay my first glimpse of the Perseids this year!

cool photos Liz, Sydney was completely clouded over and not that we would get much of a Perseid show down here, so thanks for sharing your photos

Well done with the Perseids Liz! I was looking out for them while capturing the moon and Venus this morning, but didn't see any over the city lights.

Cheers,
Stephen
