I see they found space for a Prof of Astrophysics at the closing ceremony. No 'scopes in sight though. It seems he still hasn't forgotten his first career.
He certainly did let rip with his guitar didn't he.
I thought they could have made a bit of room in either the opening or closing ceremony for the Tardis and maybe a Dalek or two, that would have been cool.
And the Dr Who theme as part of the music. Daleks sound cool. Knowing how much the poms love beating ozzies they would probably have gone around exterminating our athletes.
No 'scopes in sight though.
