Ngc 6726

Hi all
This is obviously a dusty area, but I had no idea it extended so far until I put this data together.
Taken with the FSQ106N and STL11K it is HaLRGB image consisting of 2:8:2:2:2 hours (16 hours). The Ha data was used only to get some definition on the two central stars responsible for the reflection nebulae (6726/6727) - otherwise, it was burned out.

hope you like it!

clear skies
Martin

Nice & sharp Martin but could you have got a little
more colour out of it - especially in those stars?
Maybe it's me - perhaps I am used to people turning up the saturation?
Is that what you meant by burned out?

Nice to see what you can do with a bit more data than my last attempt. Very pretty, Martin!

You are absolutely right about those stars - I think I uploaded an earlier version of the image I was working on

But - I did enhance those stars further in what is the actual finished image.

The luminance and colour frames were overexposed, so I used a much narrower Ha filter to blend in the data there.

cheers

Now that's more like it...

How does it go again? Spectacles.... something starting with "T", wallet and watch?

Very tidy indeed.

That's better now.
You have more blue in the stars & bit more background in the nebulosity.
It's a nice photo.
cheers
Allan
