Frustration!!!

Well, I haven't been able to do any viewing since Saturday morning, Jupiter was spectacular, and last night looked as it was going to be the same. Then..... it cleared into a beautiful clear night so out to have a go at this afocal photography on the moon.

Went down the backyard to check out the best position to view the moon around my challenges (trees) and hit a show stopper With all the beautiful rain - which we really need, which we really need, keep saying it - I would have lost my scope if I had taken it out. The ground was sooooo soggy I had to forget the trial and settle for some binoc views of the moon.
