July-28th: Some views of the ARs in Ha and Standard Resolution

Hello,
As the seeing was quite bad, I had to stop the 127mm scope down to 80mm and work with a reduced resolution to capture these images.

I am posting an annotated low resolution full disc image to work as a positional reference to make possible the identification of the ARs on the images in standard resolution.

The image # 2 has been rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise to improve the perspective of the AR11531 that is going to the dark side on the western limb.

Thanks for looking,

Fernando

A great selection Fernando I took my Ha unit off the 60mm Daystar and mounted it as your filter is with the UV/IR block filter on a 127mm and got a result(albeit more in the Blue wing).

Thank you very much for the encouraging comments.

Thanks Paul. Indeed I used 2% out of the 2700 frames so, seeing could be a little better. When seeing is ordinary I use 7% out of the same batch.

Thanks Derek. I am glad you got a good result changing your setup a little bit. These Daystar filters in a 127 scope make up a setup capable to deliver very good images.

Best Regards,

Fernando
