wow just set up but look at that big bugger of a prom 28/07/2012

just setting up to get some solar shots when i noticed this small prom. looking forward to seeing better work from the other solar nuts. these are just a quick snapshot

downlowded the vids off the observatory pc - now to try and process. man i wished i had a 152mm lunt LOL

Must have occurred after I shut down Huff, shot it a bit earlier, 1100 or so here (so about 0900 your place).

I need to revisit the processing, I didn't spend too long on that. There are a few full disk shots as well, but I'm liking the part disk sort of size. Tried also the 2.5x PowerMate, so 2100mm focal length, not flash.
Get yours processed.

For what its worth Dave seems many people who have these often stop them down due to seeing conditions. I honestly think the 100mm really is a great scope. And its quick to set up .Look foward to more snaps.
