Visiting Alice Springs for astrophotography

Hello everybody,

Me and a few friends are planning to visit Alice Springs in this coming
December. Our main heavy gears are Takahashi EM-400 and TOA150.
Needless to say, carrying all the gears is a daunting task. We plan to
stay there for 2 weeks.

To reduce the luggage weight, we are seeking ways to rent pier or
tripod for EM-400 mount. Anybody knows if such rental is available
near Alice Springs?

The only requirement is that the pier or tripod be compatible with
EM-400 base.

Not likely mate. I would say astrophotography supplies would be a rare thing there. Best to bring your own.
