Sort of reminds me of my one and only bungee jump. You stand there on the ledge with your head saying "jump, jump" yet your legs are saying "you've got to be kidding"

Felt like that many time on top of my Dads Amateur Radio Tower that he always got me to climb... always wondered what it would have been like at the end of the fall... never had the guts to try it out though, sort of glad I didn't now

Poor bugger. You could see he was clearly crapping himself at the top before he went. Peer presure was too much. He should never have been there.

Cheers,
Jason.

I once said to my CO when asked to do para training, "Birdsh1t and Idiots" To which he replied, "What"? To which I said, "that is the only thing that falls out of the sky". He then asked me if I was suggesting he was an idiot. I then replied, "Not at all Sir" and walked off with a rather large smile on my face.

Taking on risky behaviour has to have this sort of thing occur at some point. Darwin would be proud.
