NGC 6559 and neighboring

A beautiful and crowded area of Milky Way in Sagittarius. The mix of colors and type of subject is impressive. I had so much fun to process it, is really a pleasure to deal with these subjects. The only difficulty is its height above the horizon , I had the telescope almost horizontal to the ground.

Thanks for looking:

A beautiful photo Leo.

Amazing colour, detail and quality.

You need to get to Australia and image this at an easier angle.

Ross.

My favourite rendition of this area is one by Marcus Davies (shrink it to 50% in your browser)...but this is also pretty excellent Leo, your colours are very vibrant and the image looks nice and crisp especially considering the elevation this area must be for you

Very nice work indeed

Mike

Nice image Leo. One of my favourite objects that I have imaged myself. I really like your saturation levels and the detail. Very nice work.
