Rho Ophiucus from Uluru

Hi Guys

Ok,so I've been working up at Uluru,NT for the past two months and of cause I decided to do the three day drive so I could take my imaging gear with me.

Here's one from last Saturday night, and just let me say that since Ive been up here Ive experienced the most incredible skies Ive ever seen in my life!

Exposures: 14 x 6 minutes

Telescope: BabyQ/Reducer

Mount: GPDX/SS2/Guided

Camera: QHY8

Software: Astroart5/PS CS4

Hope you enjoy.

A little noisy...but I'm being picky.

Otherwise very tidy indeed, great colour, guiding, fantastic field...from a location that I recall get's a little chilly this time of year

Nice one.

Hi Louie,

What a great photo.

Amazing colours and detail, especially from only 84 minutes exposure.

I love the composition.

I could ask you how you do it, but I know the answer will be....."go to my tutorials, it's all there!"...

Good to see you're having a great time at Uluru. We're missing you here in Sydney.

Hope to see more amazing photos from your expedition.

Thanks.

Ross.

That blue nebulosity is very difficult to capture, and you've done it very well - nice image Louie.

Hi and thanks Dave!commitment?some would say crazy! I like the way you see It.....I enjoyed the trip up though, and wasn't as trashed as I thought I would be either...very different from driving the east coast.

Glad you enjoyed this view from central Australia Dave and thanks for the feedback....much appreciated.
