The Trifid Nebula

It has been a long time doing some deep sky imaging so with astrofest approaching I may as well start practicing.

Taken through my Williams Optics Flt 100 with P FLAT 68 finally attached and I am amazed. 20 x 5 minute lights ISO 800 Canon 400d with darks flats and bias frames done. Stacked DSS Photoshop CS5. Now all I have to do is get the QHY-9 and filter wheel up and running with this field flattener.

Comments/suggestions always welcome.

Mark

Nice round stars Mark. Look like it does the job. Good luck with the back focus with the filter wheel. Did you take this last night?

Nice work Mark, that flattener really works well with that scope. I wouldn't be without mine.

Well done

Geoff
