M27 Dumbbell Nebula (Reprocessed)

I was searching around on the net learning how to remove gradients. I noticed alot of my images especially the M27 has alot of gradient on the left hand side.

Here's a redone M27 Dumbbell with the gradients removed. With the original M27, I had to remove alot of details just to remove the gradient. Now knowing how to do so, it shows a heck lot more details than before

Might have to redo some of my previous images now. gonna get busy

One of your best I believe Eric.

Excellent.
Well done.

So give us the details of how you went about removing the gradient.

thanks andrew. I remove the gradient by creating another channel in photoshop cs2. select the gradient icon and drag the bar from brightest to the darkest. I then load the new gradient channel to the pic and adjust the level until the gradient is gone .
