Add a few 'sunspots' and it wouldn't be too bad. And you can eat the model afterwards.

About time I saw a funny one.

Now to wait for all the shots (like the conjunction big moon ones) holding it, prodding it, juggling it, cupping it, kicking it, baseball hooping it (okay that one was quite good )- I swear if I see one more photo like that I'm going to screeeeeeeeeam. Unless it deserves to be on APOD- that conjunction shot was a classic!

Did you friend happened to witness the bleeding in and out of the transit as well...? *spurt*

Looking forward to the composite image of the entire transit, as well as an animated gif!

Actually (on a quite nerdy note) That image could symbolise two of the acheivements of Captain Cook's first Voyage into the Pacific - the 1769 transit of Venus and the prevention of scurvy in the crew of the Endeavour by use of food with ascorbic acid
