Filter Types

Hello Everyone,

I've been looking at getting filters for the past month now. My equipment:

1) Meade 10" dobsonian.
2) 26mm wide angle lens. 2" diameter
3) 5mm Vixin lens 1.25" diameter

I've got some more lenses that are 1.25" in diameter. So my question is, Which lens is better in viewing nebulae. The 26mm gives me not much zoom, but does give me a good wide view. The 5mm gives me good zoom, but not much wide a view. So, when I wanna buy a filter, which size should I aim for?

I'm still new to this, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Kman
