Wordpress image gallery recommendations

Hi all,

I'm slowly building up my new website which is based on wordpress. Lots to learn, haven't dealt with wordpress yet, hence you'll notice it looks somewhat "default" at the moment. http://www.rogergroom.com

I have installed NGGallery (next gen galler) as it seemed the most recommended. However I'm really after something that I can add individual attributes to pictures (ISO, camera, lens, date, etc) and I don't think (could be wrong) nggallery provides this.

Any recommendations?

I've used NextGen Gallery on a wordpress project I did for a client.

It does appear to be the most popular, but I'm not a huge fan of it. The usability is pretty ordinary.

You might want to try some other plugins, or even external image galleries and just try and integrate it with wordpress in some way.

I'm still playing around with plugins, if anyone else has suggestions I'd appreciate them.

I would like to have the images hosted under my same domain name (not externally), and I'd like the galleries to be properly SEO friendly (for example I don't understand how NGG and others claim to be SEO friendly when they don't show the image in a separate page with extra content describing the image).

I haven't, I did attempt to get Drupal running. I will see if I can get a feel for the joomla functionality before I go attempting to switch though.
